ICS SubHub is a private workforce scheduling application for school faculty, staff, and substitute teachers. User accounts are created by an administrator; there is no public signup.
To opt in to SMS notifications, an employee must:
- Sign in to ICS SubHub at https://icssubhub.com/auth.
- Add or confirm a mobile phone number in their profile.
- Open Notification Preferences.
- Review and check the SMS consent checkbox that reads: “I agree to receive SMS notifications from ICS SubHub about my shifts, coverage assignments, and account activity. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help.”
- Enable the SMS toggle. SMS is off by default and cannot be turned on until the consent checkbox is checked.
We store the timestamp of the consent and the exact consent text shown to the user. Once opted in, the user receives only operational messages related to their shifts, coverage assignments, job availability, reminders, and account activity.
Users can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, turning off the SMS toggle in Notification Preferences, or removing their phone number from their profile.
